Effective merchandising maximises a customer’s exposure to your product and will help deliver sales.
It’s a common sense approach but with literally thousands of products to support store sales and merchandising teams are highly unlikely to give you individual focus.
To merchandise with the maximum effect requires experienced and capable ‘feet on the street’ who care how they support your product, developing rather than damaging your brand.
· Ensure displays are full, tidy and product space is maximised
· Action, or rectify any in-store promotions, including: storyboards, EndCaps, displays
· Check and correct any pricing and stock on appropriate shelves
· Create additional displays – gain additional meterage where appropriate
· Distribute and display any sales support literature.
· Bring stock out of stock rooms and onto the sales floor
