Client Brief

With an updated product hitting the shelves in UK multiple retail, Nuance wanted to ensure they had focussed support in place to help drive sales and increase ROI on their ‘Dragon – Naturally Speaking’ - DNS range.

In choosing RPC they selected a very flexible and responsive field based team capable of both understanding the technology and delivering quality training and messaging to increase ‘mind share’ and gain sales.

Activity

To deliver for Nuance, RPC deployed a dedicated team of Regional Sales Developers to key UK multiple retailers. The team deliver on-going support for Nuance which  includes:

Compliance  - of any funded promotions and new product launches, undertaking any necessary remedial action

Compliance & Merchandising - ensuring Nuance visibility and impact is maximised in each store, to include: retrieve stock; ensure all products on display are correct versions; correct pricing;  gain additional meterage for Nuance range.

Training - building sales and business teams product knowledge and awareness of Speech Recognition solutions through ‘hands-on’ training. Demos included encouraging sales teams to build their own speech profile.

Sales Developers key messaging focussed on delivering messaging around opportunities to sell and benefits for customers.  They consolidated the learning through checking the staff members proposed approach with customers.

In addition, key sales data, photos and anecdotal feedback were ’intelligently’ gathered and fed back to Nuance.

Outcomes

Regular presence in store has raised awareness and increased sales opportunities  of speech recognition technology .

Store staff now able to confidently able to demonstrate and promote DNS products.

EndCap promotional compliance has been raised significantly with field team checking and rectifying. This has delivered maximum and ROI on funded promotions.
